"Launching Halcyon Spirits has been a true passion project for us. As whisky fanatics ourselves, our goal is to be able to find and share incredible whiskies with others."
Halcyon was also the name of Daniel and Craig’s grandfather’s fishing boat, sailing from the prominent fishing port of Whitehills on Scotland’s Moray Coast - a few miles away from the site of the former Banff Distillery, and the operational Macduff Distillery. The importance of family, recognising this legacy, has been a constant in the brothers endeavours - and like them, many of the casks they will bottle with Halcyon were born and began maturation not far from where they grew up in the heart of Scotland’s malt whisky country.
